About Mrs. Graves
Hello! I am Mrs. Graves, the School Counselor at Aurora Quest K-8. This is my sixth year here at Quest and I am looking forward to a great year. I went to school at the University of Colorado to earn my undergraduate degree in Psychology. Immediately after I graduated, I began my Master's degree in School Counseling. Before I came to Quest, I taught students in elementary and middle school for five years.
I enjoy living in Denver, because most of my family lives here. We like to get together and enjoy all that Colorado has to offer. Some of my favorite things to do are hike, cook, watch movies and snowboard. My six month old son keeps my husband and pretty busy during the week, so we try to make the most of every weekend.
At Quest, you can find me in room 316. I can help students with things like getting along with friends, strategies for stress, worries at home, dealing with grief, managing anger and feeling better about who you are. If you have a problem that you can't seem to figure out, ask your teacher for a pass to come to the counselor's office. Don't forget to say 'hi' when you see me in the halls of Quest!
